Cloud Atlas is a digital exploration of the 1930 International Atlas of Clouds and States of the Sky. Early cloud photography, hand-drawn diagrams and scientific observations reveal a time when documenting the sky was as much a visual practice as a scientific one.

We designed and built the experience in Framer, translating the archive into an interactive landscape of images and annotations. The navigation invites visitors to move between exploration and close observation, preserving the character of the original material while giving it a new digital life.
